Our Story

Needlework Vault, LLC. was founded in 2012 by Sally Christovich and Annie Smith,
New Orleans natives and veterans of the needlework trade.
On Sophie Wright Place in the Garden District, the Vault served the stitching community for eight years. Annie has since retired and Jules Vetter, representing Gen-Z, now works designing and painting needlepoint canvases with Sally.
July 2020, Sally and Jules packed up our shop’s home of eight years and moved into working space in Sally’s Lakeview home. Though we are optimistic of a future brick & mortar, this decision to move was unavoidable.
Due to limited available space, we will no longer offer knitting yarns for sale after Labor Day 2020.
We continue to offer our full lines of needlepoint canvases, threads, and supplies.
